Norbert Schwery founded the Gaumenzauber catering und party service together with his wife Irène on 22nd October 2007. Since then, the trained chef and pâtissier has been enchanting the palates of his customers together with six permanent and 30 part-time employees. Norbert Schwery's father Erwin is also a member of the team. He ran the Schlosskeller Restaurant for nearly 30 years, and he has been supported by the hard work of his son in the last few years. Just as Fendant wine goes with raclette, the restaurant hosted by the Schwery family is part of the gastronomy scene in the Valais region.

Their magic formula involves providing a full gastronomic service from start to finish. They take care of everything themselves. The Gaumenzauber team provides everything that goes on the table. From your fork right up to the chocolate with your coffee.

Gaumenzauber spoils our guests in the Montela Apartments with plenty of attention to detail.

The history of the Schaukäserei - Tradition thanks to innovation

The roots of the company date back to 1881. The alpine dairy was founded in 1963, in 1999 it merged with Termen to form the Brigerberg alpine dairy and since 2012 the company has been operating out of new premises in Glis. This is very much true to the principle that "If the customer won't come up the mountain, the farmer must come down into the valley".

The Schaukäserei Rhone's products range from fondue and raclette to various mountain cheeses and even more delicious specialities from the Valais region. An ideal partner for Wallmont, as they are both proud to represent the Valais region.

The butcher's shop in the village of Saas-Fee has been a traditional family business since 1946. This business has many years of tradition and has an absolute commitment to quality produce.

This applies to the original Saas house sausage in particular. They have been selling this unique and original product from the Saas Valley since 1946. These specialities from the Saas Valley are made by hand using an old family recipe with specially selected varieties of meats of the highest quality and exquisite spices. They are then dried in the Saas mountain air, which gives them the unique taste true to the ideal of these original Saas specialities.

Every sausage is produced with great care - "home-made quality" has been our top priority ever since the village butcher's was founded.

We carefully select the ideal soil for each variety of grape so that the vine can fully develop its individual strength, personality, and essential character. The interaction between the vineyard and the cellar is seamless.
